10% body weight formula – why does it work?
The most commonly recommended proportion is 7 to 12% of body weight . In practice, this means that a person weighing 70 kg chooses a 6–8 kg blanket. For children, pediatricians recommend sticking to the lower limit (≈ 7%) and observing the comfort of the little one.
