Our weighted blankets are made with care for quality and comfort. We sew them from soft, breathable fabrics – cotton, satin, or waffle-weave fabric. The filling consists exclusively of hypoallergenic, non-toxic glass microbeads, evenly distributed in small pockets to ensure even weight distribution across the blanket.

What is a weighted blanket?

The Padreamora weighted blanket will help you get rid of insomnia and other sleep disorders, reduce stress, worries and anxiety. It can be used instead of a regular blanket for sleeping. It is suitable for both adults and children, for everyday use. The blanket comes with a duvet cover that can be removed, washed and replaced with other bedding if necessary.

Will it get too hot under a weighted blanket?

It depends on the cover. Satin stays cool to the touch and does not trap heat, so it suits warm bedrooms. Cotton breathes and works all year round. If you tend to overheat at night, pick one of the satin covers – the differences are shown in the side-by-side comparison.

Isn't 10 kg too heavy?

The weight spreads over the whole surface, so it is not felt the way 10 kg in your hands would be. The usual starting point is about 10% of body weight, and for two people under one blanket it is counted from the combined weight. The calculator does the arithmetic for you.

How does a weighted blanket work?

From what age is it safe for a child?

From three years old. For ages 3–6 we recommend staying at around 7% of body weight and using the blanket while an adult is present. The child must be able to push the blanket off on their own.
