Evening routines stick better when your child actually likes what's on the bed.

Aura Kids is a lighter version of the crinkle satin, sized for a child's bed. The gently rippled texture feels nice to the touch and looks interesting - for many kids, that's one more reason to go to bed willingly.

The weight spreads evenly across the whole surface, giving a light, steady hugging effect all night - no need to wrap up in the blanket.

At a glance: 100x150 cm or 110x170 cm, 2-6 kg, premium crinkle satin (crushed satin), glass microbeads, sewn in Poland.

Why crinkle satin for kids?

The fabric is soft, cool in summer, and skips the ironing - practical since kids' bedding gets washed often anyway. The crinkle texture also hides everyday creases.

Improved sleep quality

The gentle pressure of the heavy blanket mimics a therapeutic technique called deep touch pressure (DTP).

Reduced anxiety and stress

Weighted blankets are often used as a natural way to calm the body and mind.

Comfort for sensory disorders

For people with autism, ADHD or sensory disorders, weighted blankets provide comfort by reducing sensory overload.

How our weighted blankets are made

Our weighted blankets are made with care for quality and comfort. We sew them from soft, breathable fabrics – cotton, satin, or waffle-weave fabric. The filling consists exclusively of hypoallergenic, non-toxic glass microbeads, evenly distributed in small pockets to ensure even weight distribution across the blanket.

Frequently asked questions

What is a weighted blanket?

The Padreamora weighted blanket will help you get rid of insomnia and other sleep disorders, reduce stress, worries and anxiety. It can be used instead of a regular blanket for sleeping. It is suitable for both adults and children, for everyday use. The blanket comes with a duvet cover that can be removed, washed and replaced with other bedding if necessary.

Will it get too hot under a weighted blanket?

It depends on the cover. Satin stays cool to the touch and does not trap heat, so it suits warm bedrooms. Cotton breathes and works all year round. If you tend to overheat at night, pick one of the satin covers – the differences are shown in the side-by-side comparison.

Isn't 10 kg too heavy?

The weight spreads over the whole surface, so it is not felt the way 10 kg in your hands would be. The usual starting point is about 10% of body weight, and for two people under one blanket it is counted from the combined weight. The calculator does the arithmetic for you.

How does a weighted blanket work?

The Pandreamora weighted blanket, thanks to its reinforced and distributed weight over the entire surface, creates a feeling of gentle hugs. Covering yourself with such a blanket, you gain a pleasant sense of security and peace. Thanks to this, our body and nervous system calm down automatically. The level of arousal, stress and anxiety decreases, you can fall asleep peacefully and quickly, and wake up really rested.

There is a scientific basis for this effect.

Additionally, correct, deep pressure from the weight of the blanket has a relaxing effect on joints, muscles and tendons.

From what age is it safe for a child?

From three years old. For ages 3–6 we recommend staying at around 7% of body weight and using the blanket while an adult is present. The child must be able to push the blanket off on their own.

What ailments and problems does a weighted blanket help with?

Research and many years of experience show that heavy blankets help get rid of:

  • Sleep disturbances/insomnia (or difficulty falling asleep)
  • Stressed out
  • Anxiety and panic attacks
  • Nervous and physical overload of the body
